Putting together your printable gift card holder is quick and easy—but a few thoughtful touches can make it extra special. Here are some of my favorite tips to help you get the most out of your freebie:

🖨️Print Like a Pro

• Use US Letter (8.5×11) white cardstock (65–110 lb weight) for a sturdy and professional look.
• Make sure your printer settings are set to “Landscape” and “Actual Size” or 100%. Do not use “Fit to Page”
• Select “Best” or “High Quality” print settings on your printer for vibrant colors and crisp lines.
• For the Envelope Template use “Borderless Printing”
• Let ink dry for a minute or two before handling, especially if you’re using an inkjet printer.

✂️ Cut Clean & Straight

• Use a paper trimmer for the cleanest edges, or scissors if you’re comfortable free hand.
• If your design has a border, leave a small white margin to avoid cutting into the artwork.

🖊️ Personalize It

• Sign your name before attaching the gift card—flat surfaces make it easier!
• Use the back of the card to write a personalized message.
• Use colorful gel pens, brush markers, or a fine-tip pen for a polished look.

• Be sure not to cover up any message areas—center the card neatly inside the box.
